Role
Senior EC&I Designer - 12 Month contract - Based in Warrington
Our Client has a requirement for a Senior EC&I Designer who will be required to work on a Contract based in Warrington.
Role Purpose:
To produce with input and guidance from the engineering design team, engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering) that satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality.
Essential experience:
- Significant Experience in the use of AutoCAD
- Must have significant demonstrable experience in CE&I Project Delivery
- Experience of the design delivery of building electrical services
- Competent in the application of CDM Regulations
- Competent in the application of IET wiring Regulations
- Experience of space management, panel layouts, cable routing, cable management and cable calculations.
- Have the ability to work as part of an Integrated delivery team, and individually, working within sometimes restrictive time constraints.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with people at all levels.
Essential qualifications:
- HNC or evidence of substantial experience with a high emphasis on EC&I engineering.
Desirable experience:
- Experience with Control Systems
- Experience delivering against BS 61508 &/or BS 13489
- Experience in delivering in accordance with Sellafield Ltd Management System
Desirable qualifications:
- member of a relevant professional institution – typically the IET.
